Hi, I’m Charlotte A. Wells, PMHNP. I provide compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care for adults, with a special focus on anxiety, depression, trauma-related symptoms, and substance use concerns. My path into mental health started with years of seeing how untreated stress, trauma, and addiction can quietly take over someone’s life—especially in underserved communities. I wanted to offer a space where people feel respected, heard, and supported without judgment, and where treatment is practical, collaborative, and tailored to real life. In treatment, I take time to understand the whole picture—sleep, stress, medical history, relationships, work, and coping patterns—so we’re not just “treating symptoms,” but building stability. Services may include psychiatric evaluation, medication management when appropriate, and supportive therapy-informed care using strategies from CBT, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed approaches. Clients often tell me they appreciate a provider who is straightforward, caring, and focused on progress. My goal is for you to leave sessions with clarity, a plan, and the sense that you’re not doing this alone—whether you’re trying to feel like yourself again, reduce anxiety, improve mood, or strengthen recovery.
